WJEC GCSE History

The current course has three elements- these cover the following topics:

1) Depression, War and Recovery, Britain c1930-1951: including topics like Causes of the depression, Life during the depression, Life during the war and Results after the war.

2) USA 1910-29: Including topics like Immigration, Crime and corruption, Economic boom, entertainment and the role of women.

3) Changes in Health and Medicine c1340-present day.

4) 2 Course work- assessments: One on sources concerning Women and World War I and a second assessment on interpretations about the British Generals in World War I.
